# Nose Bleed

Do not bend the head backwards or lie down,because this increases blood pressure in the head & so increases the bleeding. Blood may also run into the stomach.

Treatment: Pinch the nostrils with your fingers for minutes. This way, the vein is pressed together. While the nostrils are shut, one can breathe through his mouth. If bleeding continues or if there are episodes of recurrent nose bleeds - consult your doctor.
